Welcome to the North Charleston Learning Center

The Learning Center offers a nurturing and joyful atmosphere where children experience a variety of learning and playful activities. These activities provide a balanced program for social, emotional, physical, cognitive, and spiritual development.

Each child is a unique person with special needs and abilities. Our goal is to encourage the growth of the "whole child." A daily schedule, which includes a balance of teacher-directed and child-directed activities, serves to reinforce, enrich, and challenge in an environment where each child is respected as an individual.

Curriculum

Our all day child care program includes an academic curriculum that provides a range of age-appropriate learning centers, group activities, individual instruction, and plenty of fun learning experiences. It is based on the Mother Goose Time Early Learning Curriculum. The children learn such things as shapes, colors, numbers, counting, letters and sounds, weather and seasonal changes, listening and following directions, and pencil and scissor control.

Safety

We have strict pick up and drop up guidelines that limit who comes in the building to help control the spread of the Coronavirus. Our Smartcare system allows you to make payments weekly online and set them up automatically with a click of a button.

We have cameras in every classroom that are always recording and in the parking lot to see who comes and goes. Our doors are always locked and require a code to get in the building.
